Explicit imports, specified behavior.

Batch 11A introduced the reserved kwechiri: namespace. Batch 11B extends its pure string module with length and concatenation. Later Standard Library batches are not yet authorized.

kwechiri:eriri

The module exports five provisional pre-1.0 functions. All are pure, non-mutating, case-sensitive, and free of implicit coercion or normalization.

Exact string behavior

  • Matching is case-sensitive and exact.
  • String contents are not normalized.
  • The empty string is contained in every string and is a prefix and suffix of every string.
  • ogologoEriri counts user-perceived characters; an Igbo letter with combining marks counts once.
  • jikọọEriri joins exact raw sequences without inserting separators.
  • Wrong arity and statically known wrong argument types are located semantic errors.
The names are provisional. All five string function names remain subject to the 1.0 terminology review.
