Project status
Kwechiri advances through explicit, owner-approved milestones. Future roadmap entries do not authorize implementation by themselves.
Core values, collections, functions, control flow, module hardening, the runtime boundary, the professional CLI, and the first Standard Library module are closed.
Grapheme-aware string length and exact raw-string concatenation are approved and implemented in the official string module. Later Standard Library batches remain unauthorized.
Milestone 12 requires a browser-compatible compiler and runtime, safe isolation, an editor, output, diagnostics, and responsive UI. It is not implemented.
Editor integration, final terminology, compatibility policy, licensing, package publication, tutorials, and release procedures remain future work.
The language is under active development. Features described here are not production-compatibility guarantees. The npm package is private and the project has not selected a license.
