Kwechiri welcomes focused engineering, documentation, testing, and educational work that respects the approved language scope.

Before changing code

  1. Read the repository's AGENTS.md and current project status.
  2. Inspect the applicable specification, architecture, and ADRs.
  3. Confirm that the requested milestone or stabilization scope is approved.
  4. Inspect existing work and preserve unrelated changes.

Validation

npm ci

A successful build alone is not enough for user-visible behavior. Add direct CLI, runtime, module, or browser probes when the risk calls for them.

Language changes require approval

New syntax, keywords, semantics, public APIs, compatibility changes, and major architecture decisions require the project owner's approval and the appropriate specification or ADR.
